Mount Gulian is best suited for the most discriminating couple seeking a tranquil, exceptional venue for their special day. With picturesque grounds, heritage garden and historic buildings, we limit ourselves to only one wedding per week to ensure satisfaction.
Tucked away on 44 acres overlooking the majestic Hudson River, Mount Gulian is a 1730’s era Dutch Colonial Homestead, listed on the National Registers of Historic Places. Wedding ceremonies and cocktail hours are held on the spacious riverside lawn. Receptions are celebrated in our beautiful, Dutch-style 18th century barn with hand-hewn beams, surrounded by old-growth deep woods. The barn can accommodate up to 135 guests for a sit-down dinner, from May through October.
Just 90 minutes north of Manhattan, we’re 5 minutes away from Beacon NY, a small Hudson Valley city and a popular weekend getaway. Beacon and the surrounding quaint villages have an abundance of eclectic shops, art galleries, nature preserves, museums, hotels and fine dining that can turn your special day into a weekend destination for you and your guests.
