Mount Gulian Historic Site is located in the beautiful Hudson River Valley, near Beacon, New York, about 80 minutes north of Manhattan.

Open for tours every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, April 21st through October 27th, 2024.
Tours are at 12:00pm, 1:00pm, 2:00pm and 3:00 pm. Reservations are preferred, but walk-ins will be accepted if space allows. To make a reservation please email info@mountguilian.org or call 845-831-8172. Payment may be made day of visit.
Admission is $12 adults, $10 seniors, $8 children (ages 6-18), Free for children under 6 and Mount Gulian members. Membership is open to the public.
By Train
Beacon is located on the Metro North Railroad’s Hudson Line, operated by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA).
For train schedules and fares visit the MTA website. Mount Gulian is a 1.8 mile car ride from the station.
By Car
From the New York State Thruway
Take Exit 17 (Newburgh) to I-84 East
Take I-84 East to Exit 41 (old Exit 11) Wappingers Falls/Beacon
Turn left onto 9D North
Proceed approximately 1/10th of a mile; you will see our Revolutionary War Soldier sign on the left
Turn left onto Hudson View Drive
Make an immediate left onto Lamplight Street (this will become Sterling Street)
Drive through the condo complex until the end, approximately 1/10th of a mile (watch out for speed bumps!)
Mount Gulian is at the end of Sterling Street
Please park on the circular driveway
