In addition to the events listed, Mount Gulian is open for tours on Sundays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays from April 22nd through October 28th. Tours are given between 1:00 and 5:00 pm, with the last tour at 4 pm. The fee is $8/adults; $6/seniors; $4 youngsters (6-18 years of age). Children under 6 and Mount Gulian members are free. Membership is open to the public. Tours for schools and groups are available throughout the year by reservation. Please call (845) 831-8172.

Children's Spring Tea and
Easter Egg Hunt

Need something to do with the kids during spring break? Something fun, different, and even a bit educational? This event will help you with all of the above. Relax, enjoy and smell the roses (or in this case the baked goods).
Our menu includes delicious, dainty sandwiches, homemade desserts and an assortment of Harney & Sons teas – all served on tables set with fine linens, porcelain cups, saucers and tea pots. And, if weather permits, we’ll have an
Easter Egg Hunt on the riverside lawn. A craft project for the children will
also be offered.
This is one of our most popular events, so please book early
to ensure a reservation.

Edgar Allan Poe

Now in its 24th year, our Annual Dinner
will feature American literary master of the macabre Edgar Allan Poe, portrayed by a finely skilled actor from the American Historical Theatre. Mr. Poe will mingle with guests and talk about such masterful tales as
The Tell-Tale Heart, The Pit and the Pendulum and The Raven.
The evening also includes cocktails on the riverside lawn, a four-course, historically themed dinner served in our historic 18th century Dutch barn, and a live and silent auction. Proceeds support Mount Gulian’s education programs.
