In addition to the events listed, Mount Gulian is open for tours on Sundays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from May 5th through October 27th.   Tours are given every hour on the hour from 1 pm to 5 pm with the last tour at 4 pm.  Admission is $8/adults; $6/seniors; $4 youngsters (6-18 years of age). Children under 6 and Mount Gulian members are free. Membership is open to the public. Tours for schools and groups are available throughout the year by reservation. Need something to do with the kids during spring break?  Something fun, different, and even a bit educational?  This event will help you with all of the above.  Relax, enjoy and smell the roses (or in this case the baked goods). 

Our menu includes delicious, dainty sandwiches, homemade desserts and an assortment of Harney & Sons teas – all served on tables set with fine linens, porcelain cups, saucers and tea pots.  And, if weather permits, we’ll have an
Easter Egg Hunt on the riverside lawn.  A craft project for the children will
also be offered. 

This is one of our most popular events, so please book early
to ensure a reservation.

Mother’s Day with
Free Tours
for Moms

Sunday, May 12
Tours given at 1 and 2:15 only

Make Mother’s Day extra special this year with a visit to Mount Gulian.  There will be no charge for mothers.  Tours of the house, which overlooks the Hudson River, as well as the 18th century Dutch barn and restored garden, will be given at 1:00 pm and
2:15 pm only.  Light refreshments for all visitors will be available with our compliments. 

While there’s no charge for mothers, admission for all others is $8 adults;
$6 seniors; $4 young people (ages six through 18); children under 5 and
Mount Gulian members are free. 

Membership is open to the public.  Reservations are not required.

Edgar Allan Poe

Saturday Evening, June 1
4:30 – 9:00 pm

Now in its 24th year, our Annual Dinner
will feature American literary master of the macabre Edgar Allan Poe, portrayed by a finely skilled actor from the American Historical Theatre. Mr. Poe will mingle with guests and talk about such masterful tales as
The Tell-Tale Heart
, The Pit and the Pendulum and The Raven.

The evening also includes cocktails on the riverside lawn, a four-course, historically themed dinner served in our historic 18th century Dutch barn, and a live and silent auction.  Proceeds support Mount Gulian’s education programs.
